What is it?

Booster (also known as Flo-Coat) is a colour enhancer from Colour Mill. Add it to conventional gel or paste colours and it helps them disperse evenly through fat-rich mixtures like buttercream and chocolate. It also makes melted chocolate more fluid, working in a similar way to cocoa butter.

What can I use it on?

Mix a little into gel or paste colours before adding them to buttercream, ganache or chocolate. Because the colour spreads more evenly, you need less of it to reach the shade you want.
