Description

Extra tall plain edge side scraper for tiers up to 10 inches.

What is it?

PME extra tall plain edge side scraper/smoother, made from food-grade plastic. It is designed for very tall cakes.

What can I use it for?

Smooths the sides of tiers up to 10 inches deep in one go, so you do not have to work in sections. Ideal for smoothing buttercream, ganache and royal icing, and for getting flat sides and sharp edges and corners. You can also use it to spread and smooth cake fillings.

How to use

Hold the scraper upright against the side of your iced cake, keeping it flat to the surface.

Turn the cake on a turntable in one smooth, steady motion, wiping the scraper clean as you go, to smooth the sides.
